WELCOME TO ST JOHN’S SCHOOL LIBRARY, LOCATED IN THE MCGOVERN CENTRE.

St John’s School Library serves the entire school community. Our resource centre is a shared asset and a shared space.

St John’s Library stock picture books for beginning readers, fiction books for independent readers and senior fiction for older students with more mature tastes in literature. Our non-fiction collection supports students working on assignments as well as catering for general interest reading.

Teachers and pupils are always welcome to browse the collections and parents are encouraged to visit and see the range of material available at St John’s library for their children.

St John’s library is open from 8am to 4pm on school days. Students may use the time before and after school, and during lunch breaks to work on assessment pieces or seek out a book for their own interest. Student loans are usually fourteen (14) days, but may be extended. Text book loans are for the duration of the course. Students have differing borrower limits according to year level.
