School Holiday Information
Last Friday saw the blessing and official opening of the McAuley Sporting Precinct. Bishop Ken Howell presided over the ceremony and shared many of the lessons that students can learn from sport and the importance of being part of a team. At the conclusion of the blessing, Dr Pat Coughlan, Executive Director, TCSO, officially opened the facility and shared with students his pride in being able to do so. Dr Pat, Mr Watson and School Captain, Ethan Ewart, then all participated with great enthusiasm in a basketball shoot out! It was a fantastic way to begin the official use of the McAuley Sporting Precinct.
A special thank you goes to Tim Tiley, Jeena Cramer, Melody Watt and Carmel Treasure for the parts they played in the organisation and success of the opening. It is a first-class facility that our students will be able to enjoy for years to come.

Wow! What an amazing time was had by all at this year's St John's 'A Bush Christmas'. The QISSN and Confraternity students, along with Miss Wilkes and Mr Creeley, ran a delicious canteen raising some funds for their upcoming trip. P-6 students sang some beautiful Christmas carols and the staff performed a groovy dance to begin the night. This was followed by some classic bush dances including Emus and Kangaroos, The Heel and Toe Polka and the Waves of Tory. We also enjoyed some line dancing including the Cha Cha Slide, The Nutbush and the Macarena. Thank you for a wonderful night; we are so lucky to have such a supportive community. We hope you enjoyed 'A Bush Christmas'.
