CHILDREN LITURGY AT ALL SAINTS CATHOLIC CHURCH

Children’s Liturgy is be held during the 8.30am Sunday masses on the third and fourth Sundays of the month during term times at All Saints Catholic Church, corner of Feather & McDowall Streets in Roma. All children are very welcome, no equipment is required. Morning tea will usually follow mass on the third Sunday of the month.

 

SACRAMENTS OF RECONCILIATION, CONFIRMATION AND FIRST EUCHARIST

All Saints Parish offers opportunities for children to prepare for their sacraments throughout the year. This usually involves some individual preparation and group sessions to ensure candidates are ready for the sacrament. The lead-up will culminate in the celebration of the sacrament at All Saints Catholic Church, Roma.

For Reconciliation children must be in Year 3 or older and have been baptised. It is essential the child has completed the Sacrament of Reconciliation before they are able to receive their Confirmation and First Eucharist.

Information is available from the All Saints Parish Office or from Mrs Toni Densley at St John’s School.

 

SACRAMENTS OF CONFIRMATION AND FIRST EUCHARIST

All Saints Parish will offer opportunities for children to prepare for their Sacrament of Confirmation in Term 2 and in Term 3 for their First Eucharist. This will involve some individual preparation and group sessions to ensure they are ready for these sacraments. This lead-up will culminate in the celebrations of the Sacrament of Confirmation.

To enrol in the program children must be in Year 4 or older, have been baptised and celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation before they are able to receive their Confirmation and First Eucharist.

An information sheet and enrolment form will be available from the All Saints Parish Office or St John’s School Office late in Term 1.
